Charity Tailgate before Homecoming football game Oct. 30

On Oct. 30 at 5:00 p.m., there will be a charity tailgate before the Blue Valley Homecoming football game against Blue Valley West. The tailgate will benefit Touching Tiny Lives, a Kansas City based organization that helps families and young children that have been affected by HIV/AIDS. This event will take place in the band lot area near the main parking lot. Two Guys and a Grill will be serving hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, or a brat with chips and a drink for $5. There will also be a DJ, face painting, and a bake sale that will be put on by Student Council members from BV and BV West.

Senior nominees for Homecoming Royalty Tyler Smiley, Evan Palmer, Dalton Homolka, Rachel McCullough, Ryan Cauffield and Kaitlin Long are announced during the Homecoming Assembly. Other senior nominees are Katie Louis, Tyler Disney, Brian Peck, and Emily Jones. Junior attendants are Sherry Farrahi and Steven Stinson.
