Caitlin Holland is the 2010-2011 Editor-in-chief of the Blue Valley High School Tiger Print newspaper. She has been on staff for three years and was previously News editor. Caitlin is involved in Clubs for Change, GSA, National Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, Quill and Scroll, Relay for Life committee, Youth Court, Cross Country, Tiger Mentoring, Tiger Ambassador and manages the wrestling team. She enjoys volunteering after school and on the weekends, and is a two-time presidential award recipient. Her favorite place to volunteer is Operation Breakthrough in Kansas City, Mo. She also works at Jersey Boyz Subs and Deli on the weekends and enjoys teaching kindergarten religious ed. at her church. When she isn’t busy with activities, Caitlin enjoys watching Seinfeld and the Tyra Banks Show and running.

Jordan McEntee is a junior and has been on newspaper staff for two years, and is currently the Design editor. Jordan plays soccer for BV and enjoys covering basketball. McEntee is also a member of Quill and Scroll, and placed first in design at journalism regionals last year.

Maegan Kabel is the Photo editor on the Tiger Print and has been on staff for two years. She doesn’t do any other after-school activities beside newspaper, but stays busy with a full AP and honors schedule and is a member of Quill and Scroll. After taking beginning journalism she decided to be on newspaper and is currently considering journalism as a career.

Jacob Pruitt is a two-year staff member of the Tiger Print and is the opinion editor. He is a two-year member of the district rugby team. Before he played rugby he was a football player and nationally ranked fencer. He enjoys relatively unknown subjects.

Annie Matheis is a junior and is the News and online editor of the Tiger Print. This is her first year on staff. She is also involved in Tiger Mentoring and National Spanish Honor Society. She has lived in Overland Park, Kan. her whole life.

Jordan Huesers has been on the Tiger Print for two years. This year, Jordan is the Features and Entertainment editor. Jordan’s favorite stories to write are entertainment stories such as reviews. Jordan plays volleyball and is involved in the Project SKIP program and Youth Court. Jordan loves to be a part of her youth group at her church.

Chris Roche has been on the Tiger Print staff for two years. He is currently Sports editor. He likes a wide variety of music and is laid back. He likes to cover sports and do technology reviews.

Sam Brennan has been on newspaper staff for two years, and is currently the ads manager. Sam swims 24/7 for the Kansas City Blazers. She enjoys writing entertainment or features stories. She is also in KAY Club and Project Hunger. She has been on the varsity swim team for three years and has competed at the state competition. She is very enthusiastic about newspaper.

Juliana Himmel is a sophomore and this is her first-year on staff. She plays volleyball almost all the time and has been playing competitively for three years. She also rides horses, and has been for five years. She likes to cover interesting topics and loves to take pictures. Her experience in Beginning Journalism inspired her to become a part of newspaper.

Jaida Anderlik is a senior and first-year staff writer for the Tiger Print. In high school, she has played on the softball team and been in Latin Club.

Evelyn Davis is the cartoonist and a photographer for the Tiger Print and has been on staff for one year. Evelyn likes to eat bagels and change her nail polish obsessively. She likes to cover all kinds of events, because she is a pretty chill person. She runs cross country and track, is a member of National Spanish Honor Society and enjoys long walks on the beach.
